Gage County Inmate Profile
A Gage County inmate entry is a summary, not a full booking packet. Gage County Inmate Facilities
Gage County's primary jail is the Gage County Detention Center in Beatrice, operated by the Gage County Sheriff's Office. The facility map also includes Washington County Jail in Washington, Kansas, because official Gage County planning material says overflow inmates are most commonly boarded there when the local jail exceeds capacity. The Gage roster remains the starting point for a Gage County inmate even when the county-held-in field points to another facility.

Gage County Visitation Schedule
The official Gage County visitation page states that detention center visits are first come, first served. Visitors must follow the posted rules. People under eighteen must be accompanied by an adult, and only one minor can be at the panel with an adult at one time. The rules bar cell phones, recording devices, pictures, tobacco, food, and drink at the visitor panel. Proper attire is required, and visitors under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed.

Gage County Mail and Bond
Gage County publishes separate pages for mail and bond. The inmate mail page gives the address format as the inmate's name, 612 Lincoln St. Ste 1, Beatrice, NE 68310-2988. Incoming mail is inspected for contraband. Stamps, cash, checks, nonapproved money orders, and other contraband are restricted. U.S. Postal money orders are the money orders credited to an inmate account, and those funds may be held for clearance. Personal checks are not accepted for deposit.
The Gage County inmate bond page says card payments to the sheriff's office can be made through GovPayNet, including inmate bonds and additional visitation time. Because the public roster does not show bond amount or bond type, confirm the amount, payment authority, and any no-bond or other-agency hold before using a vendor or going to the jail. A hold is another agency's legal request or authority to keep the person in custody. A no-bond hold means payment alone may not produce release.

Gage County Booking Records
Gage County does not publish a full booking manual, but the roster, jail history, and Nebraska court process show the local flow. After arrest or warrant service by the sheriff's office, Beatrice Police, Wymore Police, Nebraska State Patrol, Game and Parks, or another agency, the person is taken to the detention center or later boarded elsewhere if needed. The jail history page says Gage uses an Intercept full-body scanner for arrestees, transport vehicles with inmate security cells and cameras, internal and external cameras, and upgraded jail documentation programs.
Booking usually includes identification, property inventory, search or security scan, booking photograph, charge and hold entry, and classification. Classification is the jail's housing and security decision. It can affect where a person is housed, whether separation is needed, and whether an overflow placement is likely. Court activity follows on a separate track. For filed charges, hearing dates, and case numbers, use Nebraska court tools after the case is entered. If an older booking record, past roster entry, booking image, incident report, or jail population detail is needed, submit a specific request to the Gage County Sheriff's Office. Include the person's full name, approximate booking or arrest date, date range, known charge or case detail, and requester contact information. If the record is a court filing, use the court system instead of the jail.
